Legal Disclaimer & DMCA/Copyright Notice
1. Service Nature & Content Hosting Clarification
UK4K IPTV does not host, store, broadcast, or re‑transmit any television channels, films, sports events, or other audiovisual content. Our platform functions exclusively as a technical middleware and indexing service – a sophisticated pointer that aggregates publicly accessible IPTV stream addresses and renders them through a unified user interface. No media files reside on our servers; all streams originate from third‑party sources that are beyond our control.
This architecture is comparable to a search engine or a web directory: we simply provide a structured way for users to locate content that is already publicly available online. Consequently, we do not claim any ownership, licensing rights, or editorial responsibility for the streams themselves.
2. User Responsibility & UK Compliance
As a user based in the United Kingdom, you are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our middleware complies with all applicable local laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Digital Economy Act 2017 and any relevant copyright legislation. You must ensure you have the appropriate rights or permissions to access the streams you select through our interface. UK4K IPTV does not monitor, filter, or curate the content of the streams indexed, and cannot be held liable for any infringement that may occur on third‑party servers.
Additionally, you are responsible for your own internet bandwidth usage. Streaming high‑definition or 4K content may consume significant data; please verify your broadband package’s fair usage policy with providers such as BT, Sky, or Virgin Media.
3. Copyright Infringement Notification (DMCA & UK CDPA)
UK4K IPTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Although we do not host content, we operate a rapid takedown process for removing pointers (index entries) that link to allegedly infringing streams. This procedure aligns with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA).
To submit a valid takedown notice, you must email the following information to [email protected]:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- The exact URL(s) or stream index identifier(s) within our platform that point to the allegedly infringing material.
- Your contact information, including full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will disable access to the indexed pointer within 48 hours and notify the user who submitted the stream reference. Repeat infringers may have their access permanently terminated.
4. No Guarantee of Stream Availability
Because we index dynamic, third‑party sources, we cannot guarantee the continuous availability of any particular channel, event, or programme. Streams may be added, removed, or altered by their original hosts without notice. UK4K IPTV is not responsible for any downtime, buffering, or quality fluctuations originating from external servers.
